Harpel Builders’ Restoration Division grew out of our family at Harpel Builders. From the start, our mission has been simple: to protect the homes and investments of our neighbors with roofing and restoration solutions built on integrity.

Harpel Builders’ Restoration Division was created when Danny Fukuba wanted to achieve a simple goal, to help people when they need it most. We specialize in water damage remediation and interior restoration, bringing the same care, integrity, and craftsmanship that Harpel Builders is known for. Today, we proudly serve the Denver Metro community, and our vision is to expand across Colorado so we can support even more families, businesses, and neighbors in restoring what matters most.

Daniel “Danny” Fukuba the CEO of Harpel Restoration, serving Colorado’s Front Range with expert water, fire, and mold mitigation services. Certified by the IICRC in Water Restoration (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), Daniel leads his team with a hands-on approach and a passion for helping homeowners and businesses recover quickly after disaster strikes.
With a background in sales and entrepreneurship, Daniel has built Harpel Restoration into a trusted name in the industry, specializing in both emergency restoration and high-quality reconstruction. Outside of work, he enjoys time in the mountains with his partner, Katie, and their two boys, Hudson and Landry.

Nick was born and raised in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, Colorado, where he developed an early affinity for building and construction. After gaining experience across several roofing companies, he identified opportunities to elevate industry standards through improved customer service and project management.
His career gained momentum when he formed a pivotal mentorship with commercial roofing expert Patrick Harpel, who helped Nick expand his expertise into specialized commercial systems. After launching State Roof & Solar, Nick later acquired Harpel Builders when his mentor retired, merging decades of industry experience with his own innovative approach.
Under Nick’s leadership, the companies have developed extensive expertise across the commercial roofing spectrum. From high-rise buildings and expansive industrial complexes to educational institutions, mountain resorts, and critical public facilities, his team delivers solutions tailored to each sector’s unique requirements. This comprehensive experience has established Harpel Builders as a trusted resource for complex roofing projects throughout Colorado.
Nick’s business philosophy centers on precision, integrity, and accountability. He has introduced technological improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy, while also establishing a metal roofing fabrication shop to offer sustainable alternatives. His vision extends beyond building the most respected roofing company in Colorado—he aims to create a business that provides meaningful opportunities for his team while making a positive impact on the community. Nick is committed to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices, striving to leave the world better than he found it.
Outside of work, Nick finds balance through challenging outdoor sports. When not overseeing projects, he often travels to Central America for surfing trips or enjoying Colorado’s mountains through snowboarding, mountain biking, and snowmobiling. He credits his mother as his greatest influence and source of strength. Raised by her as a single parent, Nick learned invaluable lessons about perseverance, integrity, and the importance of doing what’s right. These fundamental values shape not only how he conducts business but also how he approaches relationships and his commitment to giving back to the community.

Devin is a seasoned entrepreneur with deep roots in the construction industry. Raised in a family of builders, he developed a hands-on understanding of the trade early in life, along with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship and accountability. His career began in roofing, where he worked his way through the ranks—from installer to project manager to business administrator—gaining a well-rounded operational skill set.
In 2019, Devin and his business partner, Nicholas Scatuorchio, took ownership of Harpel Builders following the retirement of founder Patrick Harpel. Since then, Devin has led the company through significant growth, expanding its services to include roofing, solar, exterior, and sheet metal divisions.
As Vice President, Devin ensures every department runs efficiently, upholding the company’s long-standing reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. Known for his integrity, leadership, and forward-thinking vision, he remains committed to delivering exceptional results and building lasting relationships throughout the Colorado communities Harpel Builders serves
